Alexander Franshaw is a Houston photographer and filmmaker.

I started behind a camera in music venues, shooting shows for artists like Khruangbin and Kali Uchis in light I did not control, for crowds that never stood still. You learn fast that way. You learn to find the one frame that holds, the first time, with no second take.

That instinct carried into commercial work. I co-founded Culture Capital in Austin, ran production alongside C3 Presents and the Scratchhouse venue, and started ASX Social to bring real production values to real estate. Today the commercial work runs as Telosian Studio, the photography and film arm of Telosian Growth Solutions.

Now it is mostly buildings, listings, and brands. The job has not changed since the venue: find the frame that makes the work look as good as it actually is. A listing that moves. A building that photographs the way it was drawn. A brand with a look it can repeat.

I work out of Houston and shoot across the Gulf Coast. If the work is good, my job is to make sure it looks it.
