A full rebuild of a Houston apartment brokerage's social presence, from brand to content to the leads it brings in.
The Client
Watkins Realty locates apartments for renters across Houston, working under the name Apartment Specials. It places clients with developers and hospitality groups, in the high-end housing the city is built around.
The Goals
Strategy. Like a lot of the brands that come to me, Watkins Realty needed a clear way to reach the audience it actually wanted.
Content. The page was barely producing video, a couple of posts a week from individual agents. Social was nowhere near working as hard as it could.
Lead generation. Every client came from word of mouth or a purchased list.
Marketing Rebrand
The fix had three parts: a rebrand, a content engine, and automated lead generation. The rebrand came first.
I rebuilt the Instagram brand to pull high-end renters, a modern, minimalist identity with open space, large imagery, and a name and logo that stick.
The Discovery
Before the content, I ran a discovery session with the team to define the target client: 26 to 55 year old professionals after high-end living in Houston.
From there I mapped where that client's taste met the brand's look, and built a media plan that could grow reach without losing the brand.
